Blok suku kata Hangul untuk pembaca nama
One block, one syllable
Hangul groups letters into syllable blocks. A block can contain an initial consonant, a vowel, and sometimes a final consonant.
Work through a name one block at a time
In 민준, 민 contains ㅁ, ㅣ, and the final consonant ㄴ; 준 contains ㅈ, ㅜ, and ㄴ. Identifying the letters is a reading step, not a promise that a Latin spelling will reproduce the sound exactly. Similar-looking letters should be checked carefully rather than guessed from the overall shape.
Spelling is not the whole sound
Connected speech and individual name preferences affect pronunciation. Roman spelling is a helpful clue, not a full answer.
For names, ask
When a name matters, ask its owner how to say it and keep the Hangul form alongside a Roman spelling where useful.
