Saju uses birth-time information and concepts such as the five elements to frame an interpretation. It is part of Korean cultural practice and is meaningful to many people as a language for reflection and conversation.

Interpretation is not measurement

Different practitioners can give different readings from the same information. Saju does not provide a scientifically standardized measurement of personality, health, wealth, relationship quality, or future events.

Ask what the terms mean

When reading an interpretation, distinguish the birth information supplied, the rules used by the practitioner, and the advice added afterward. Writing down those layers makes disagreements easier to understand and prevents a symbolic phrase from being mistaken for an observed fact.

Use appropriate boundaries

It can be enjoyed as culture or personal reflection. Do not use it as the sole basis for medical, financial, legal, employment, or relationship decisions. For decisions with real consequences, use qualified professional advice and reliable evidence.
