Information we process

Depending on the features you use, we process account identifiers and email, name-generation inputs you choose to provide, generated results, credits and transaction records, My Korean Life content, support messages, and limited usage data such as a random browser identifier, locale, country, and product events. Birth details and profile preferences are optional unless a feature clearly requires them.

Why we use it

We use information to authenticate accounts, generate and save requested results, operate credits and payments, deliver emails you request, secure the service, prevent abuse, answer support requests, and understand aggregate product performance. We do not sell personal information.

Service providers and international processing

We use Supabase and PostgreSQL for authentication and storage; Vercel for hosting, analytics, and performance; Google services for AI processing, analytics, and advertising; Stripe, PortOne, or Google Play for payments; Resend for email; and Upstash Redis when configured for caching and rate limits. These providers may process data in countries other than yours under their own safeguards and terms. We also use Sentry for error, performance, and stability monitoring, including masked session replay that automatically hides text and blocks media (applied to 100% of error sessions and a 5% sample of regular production sessions). Sentry data is processed outside your region and retained for a limited period of up to 90 days.

Retention

Account and generated content are generally kept while your account or saved result remains active. You can delete your account from the product. Payment, security, fraud-prevention, and legally required records may be retained for the applicable obligation period; provider backups expire on provider schedules.

Your choices and rights

You may review or update available profile fields, delete your account, decline optional inputs, and request access, correction, or deletion by contacting us. Advertising and consent choices are available through the linked tools and, where applicable, the consent message shown on the site.

Security and data minimization

We use access controls, server-side authorization, encrypted transport, and limited event fields. No internet service can promise absolute security, so avoid entering information that a feature does not request.

Ads and free runs in the Android app

When you choose 'watch an ad for a free run' in the Android app, the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob) serves ads using the advertising ID, device and diagnostic information, and IP address, and UMP consent messages manage your personalized/non-personalized ad choices. To verify completed ads, the server keeps a one-time execution record ID, ad transaction ID, status, and daily usage counts by Korea Standard Time (KST) date for fraud prevention and delivering the promised reward. To confirm an intact Google Play installation, we process Play Integrity verdicts (app recognition and licensing); naming inputs such as names or birth dates are not included in this process. Watching ads never changes your pass balance, and you can change consent choices again in the app's 'Ad privacy options'.
